An inexpensive method to detect warranty tampering; and vibration loosening. Used in production on compression fittings, studs, nuts, parts, and assemblies after they are in proper torque or position. Widely used as "Anti-Sabotage Lacquer". Inspectors can visually detect any movement or tampering.
